Material ConneXion Tokyo

Material ConneXion^® Tokyo is located in AXIS building which is engaged in activities to spread the design to people and society. We support innovation in design, product development, and manufacturing through three businesses: promoting the use of material libraries, material consulting for Japanese manufactures, and promotion to expand the use of Japanese materials.

Material Library and Online Database

Our onsite library presents over 3,000 unique materials across all industries from around the world for our members to experience and enjoy. Tokyo, from its regional characteristics, almost 20% of our members are from home appliances, followed by fashions, interiors, automotive, and material manufacturers. They all place importance on tactile, textures, and appearances, as well as performance and the sustainability of materials. We provide opportunities of new beginnings of ideation for brands and manufactures here.

Our Services

Our material consultants support your challenge with cross-industry material knowledge and share material trends through seminars or webinars. We also provide the opportunities of meeting unique material manufacturers by organizing exhibitions.
